The food was tasty and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it to anybody!

Good food. Reasonable prices. The staff was friendly. The pad thai was delicious. I would eat there again.

So the $5 Cafe is in a small casino next door to the Strat. The place has been there forever and has an old-school Vegas Vibe. The food is great for the price, especially on the strip, AND They serve breakfast until 2 pm. The service is very quick, too, unless they're slammed, and then it's still not bad at all. Get some cheap drinks from the casino bar and enjoy!

If you are in Vegas and need great food, service and prices, come down to the 5$ caffe! You won't regret it. The staff is friendly and fast.

An old school style restaurant inside a small casino. If you're looking a cool, no-frills and inexpensive place to grab a meal, this is the ticket. It has the atmosphere and feel of old Las Vegas. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. The food was good, but basic. There's no fancy plates or silverware. The food is served on disposable plates with plastic silverware. I ordered the 6 dollar breakfast, two eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage and toast. It's the biggest bargain in Vegas! The restaurant next to The Strat. If you're looking for an inexpensive and basic meal, this is your place! No frills and good food.

I did not want to spend a lot of cash on breakfast! Breakfast in this town can be expensive before you get going for the day. Looked up close cheap breakfast and this came up! Short walk from the Sahara. Food is homemade cooked to order. I did take advantage of the 5 dollar breakfast - two eggs choice of breakfast meat, toast and hash brown patty. Everything was perfect -'too much for me to eat ! The wife had a bagel sandwich with ham egg and cheese and home fries. everything is yummy !!!! Don't be deterred by the look of this classic hole in the wall - go in service is fast and friendly and the view of the Strat is super cool

We wanted something simple and easy as we had just arrived in Vegas that night. We walked about half a mile from the Hilton on the strip to get there. It was just myself and my two kids. I liked that they had a variety of options to pick from. The waiter immediately grabbed menus and let us pick a table. We sat by the windows and my 10yo was entertained by the view of the Stratosphere. The kids shared winter shrimp, which was fried shrimp with fries. They enjoyed the shrimp but didn't care for the fries too much. The fries had some seasoning on it that was a little spicy. I tried the fries myself and while I liked the texture, I would only eat them with ketchup. I ordered the chicken fried rice and they have a large serving. I ended up taking half of it home. I really enjoyed the flavor of the rice. I added a little soy sauce but it didn't need much. Even my daughter took a few bites of it. My son went up and got a to go container for us and they have him the check. They did add on an extra $4 which I'm assuming was a tip but it was just listed as an item. All items on the check had the same title.

I stayed next door at the Strat. I saw the $5 sign there at this restaurant. There is a mini casino here and bar with cheap drinks. Cust. Service from my Asian waitress was great. She came around right away after I moved tables. Then she came back a few mins later during my meal. They were not that packed. The bus/ Waiter did not say nothing. He could be a recent immigrant , no personality. But he gave me menu before I sat down. I always wanted to check out this restaurant. Before Cvid, they offered more Menu items for $5. Now only the basic two eggs, one meat choice like ham, sausage or fried hash brown pattie (might be frozen type, I don't know). If you wanted fried home potatoes, waffle, pancakes or extra ham, it's extra. The ham was salty but had griddle marks on it. So it was great. I don't like too salty. They are generous with giving me two grape jams and 3 pat of butters. I will take the butter with me for my next breakfast at my next stay in Nola. I asked for foil and mayo to make a ham sando with the one piece I did not eat. The cashier, mgr (maybe) came by to take my money but I was not ready. Others just paid at the cashier. I think mainly locals play and drink here. The slots are basic old machines. No fancy video slots. You can go next door. Don't expect a fancy venue here. It's a small restaurant and not good for groups more than 6. No wait time too! This place is really basic and they serve food on plastic plates and plastic forks. It's good if you are concerned with Cvid. But then there is not much room to social distance. There was a fly flying around. But you will see that at any patio restaurant too. The front doors are left open. The music here is loud too . If you like a lively atmosphere, come here. There were no babies or young kids here too since it's a casino. Happy Hr prices all the time too. $3 Draft beer, $5 Well drinks. I don't drink so too bad. They don't comp drinks if you play slots. But I don't know since I did not bother to play. I need to check out casinos I have no gone to. No cocktail waitress since a very tiny casino.

Food, price and service were excellent! Thank you! Will come next month. Recommend this place for breakfast and lunch
